What else can I do to get more energy?

April 9, 2011

Several weeks ago my energy began dropping.

I’m a coach. My job is to ask questions, to listen and to tell the truth. In order to do those activities, I’ve got to have energy. My energy is a direct link to my livelihood and my bottom line. You to?

What do you do when your energy is low, or you are tired and you have lots of action items on your to do list? Is one of your options to go to bed and rest / sleep? That was, one of my options. I listened. The sleep helped . . . some. And I continued to feel tired. I cancelled some appointments that were not absolutely necessary. I learned to do that a long time ago.

So I asked another question of no one in particular. What else can I do to get more energy?

A long time friend called and left a message. She said she had something to share with me, would I please call her. I listened and called her.

Someone told me years ago that if I am looking for an answer, I can open any book and the answer will be there. I’ve learned since then, that it doesn’t even have to be a book. If I am listening, and I have a question in mind, the answer might come from a person, a song, or even from my TV.

It is written in a very old book, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7

I just need to show up and pay attention. (Listen) I’ve got to do everything I can to be sure the message I’m supposed to get, is heard above all the other noise that is trying its best to get through to me. And I’ve noticed there is a lot of noise, mostly in the voice of fear that wants to get my attention.

So I ask, is what I’m hearing the answer I am seeking? And I listen. If I hear YES, then I know I’m on the right track. WHY, because I trust myself. If I can’t or don’t trust myself, then who can I trust. The buck must stop someplace.

Now, the important information my friend gave me. (Please continue reading this entire post)

And this is what my friend said when I called her, “do you have a few minutes? I know you have a huge interest in health. Could you watch this short ABCNewsPrimeTimeInvestigativeReport?

I said “of course”. I would be in big trouble if I did not heed what appeared to be an answer to my question, “what else can I do to get more energy?

That was Saturday April 2. I’ve said enough now. I want to give you the opportunity to watch the same clip I did and if it answers any question you have, I trust you’ll take action like I did. You’ll find the way to take action by clicking on this page.

I’ll keep you up to date. And if you want more information please be in touch with me.
